  • How long does this take after my flowers are received by Gold & Blooms?
The process will last approximately 2 - 4 months. It depends on the size of bouquet & types of flowers.
  • How do I take care of my pressed flower artwork?
The most import part to preserving your artwork is to keep it out of direct sunlight. You should not display in a humid room of your home (like the bathroom).
  • What should I expect from my pressed flower artwork?
Please keep in mind that your artwork is made with real flowers that were once alive. We will color enhance the pieces we see necessary but it is natural for flowers to fade over the years even after they have been preserved. We do seal each piece to prevent as much as possible. Please expect that there is most likely going to be some pieces of flower or pollen that fall in the frame. Pressed & dried flowers are very delicate so the less moving of the piece the better & always handle with care.
  • Do I really need to reserve a spot in advance?
Absolutely! This is to be sure that we have enough time & space to get your bouquet pressed. When we receive your bouquet we take apart each flower to press - this takes A LOT of time and space in our flower presses. Sometimes we are able to take last minute reservations but we always recommend to book in advance.
  • Do you have any payment plan options?
We do! For orders over $500 we will do a payment plan of 3 or 4 payments. Please ask us for details!
  • How soon do you need my flowers?
If you are in the St. Louis area & would like to drop them off we will accept bouquets on Sunday & Monday. You will need to make an appointment with us to drop off. If you are outside of the St. Louis area & will be shipping your bouquet to us overnight we will need to receive it no later than 4 days after your wedding. We will send you detailed instructions on how to ship to us - it's very easy!
  • How do I care for my bouquet until it reaches Gold & Blooms?
Make sure that after you are finished using it on your wedding day that you keep it in a vase of water & in a cool place. You can put in the refrigerator if you are able but make sure they do not freeze. We would like to receive your flowers in the best condition as possible.
  • What is your refund/cancellation policy?
All deposits are non-refundable. You are free to cancel your order at any time before your flowers are received by Gold & Blooms.
  • What is your shipping policy?
Shipping costs will be calculated once product is finished & will be added on to your final invoice.
  • Will resin change the color of my flowers?
Resin can change the color of flowers. Sometimes the flowers can become translucent or have some translucent spots on them because the resin reacts with chemicals that the florists use on flowers to keep them fresh longer. Also, some flowers/greenery that have a "fuzzy" lining on them (king protea, dusty miller, etc) can change as well.
